Jason Osborne

Born and bred in the Wairarapa from a farming background, Jason has many years experience providing specialised accounting advice to Wairarapa clients including the rural community, investors and small business.

Prior to establishing Osborne Group in 2007, Jason spent 7 years as Executive Officer with sole financial charge of a multimillion dollar Wairarapa organisation and 4 years specialising in farm accounting with a Masterton accountancy firm.

Jason derives satisfaction from being able to add value when providing accounting and related services of the highest quality.

Carol Rowntree

Carol has 16 years experience with accounting  firms in Masterton and prior careers in Business Banking and Inland Revenue.  She lives in Masterton with her husband and has 2 grown up daughters.  Carol enjoys being in the outdoors and walking with friends and her dog. 

Jess Ford

Jess joined Osborne Group in August 2021.  Born and bred in the Wairarapa, she gained her Bachelor of Business Studies majoring in Accounting in 2020 from the Open Polytechnic, and is aiming towards becoming a Chartered Accountant.  She has 14  years experience with accounting firms in the South Wairarapa.  She lives in Featherston with her husband and 2 young children.

Caroline Ross

Caroline joined Osborne Group in April 2022 with 17 years accounting experience, focusing on Companies and Trusts and the legislation that regulates these entities.  Born and raised in the North Wairarapa on a dairy farm, she has since lived and worked on sheep and beef farms for many years resulting in a comprehensive understanding of, and interest in, the farming sector and it's reporting requirements.

Emma Howard

Emma joined Osborne Group in 2014 and is currently working towards her Bachelor of Accountancy.  Emma grew up in the Wairarapa and outside of work enjoys time spent with her family and friends.

Lynne Hourigan

Lynne has had 17 years experience with Accounting firms in Masterton and a prior career with Inland Revenue.  Born and raised on a farm at Whareama she has a keen interest in the farming sector and runs a small lifestyle block.  She has two adult children and in her spare time enjoys cycling, walking the dog, gardening and spending time at the beach.

Deanna Dougan

Deanna joined Osborne Group in September 2024.  She has a wide range of management accounting experience.  Deanna, her partner and their two children live on a rural lifestyle block out of Masterton.  In her spare time she enjoys playing table tennis, swimming and spending time with family and friends.

Melvin John

Melvin joined the team with 10 years experience in the corporate world working for MNC's while in India. He is in the process of completing his Bachelors in Accountancy from Massey in 2019 and aims to pursue Chartered Accountancy in the future. He moved to Pahiatua from New Delhi, India, in 2012, where he lives with his wife and their two children.  Melvin enjoys playing squash during his spare time, and is on the committee at Tararua Squash Club. 

Heidi Lawson

Heidi joined the team in 2017.  She gained her Bachelor in Accounting from Massey University in 2015 and is aiming towards becoming a Chartered Accountant. Heidi lives in Masterton with her four children.

Daniel Lelievre

Daniel graduated Massey University in 2021 with a Bachelor of Business, Majoring in Accounting. He has moved back to his hometown of Masterton to work at Osborne Group. Daniel enjoys performing and composing music in his free time.           

Andrena Harvey

Andrena has a wide range of experience working in tax administration this includes working in the national office at IRD and at other accounting firms. In her spare time she loves using her creative flair. Andrena was born and raised in Masterton.

Wendy Runciman

Wendy has administration experience having worked in Wellington before moving to Greytown.  She and her husband Todd found the perfect property a few years ago for a change of lifestyle with the promise of more sunshine, friends and family, shopping and wine tasting.  Wendy has five adult children who all live overseas.           

Becks Taylor

Becks is on the front desk in our Masterton office.  Her friendly face will be the first thing you see when you call in.  She will also be the one chasing you for those signed tax returns!  Becks has been in the Wairarapa for about 17 years.  She spends her spare time caring for her four children and her garden.
